Ranch boss Rodrigo will be watchin’ out fer any horse thieves who might want to wrangle yer mounts, and Saloon Keeper Nik will be polishin’ the glasses extra special with spit, makin’ sure everythin’s ready.
Pretty school marm Lisa and Jen the librarian will see that the cussin’ only takes place outdoors, while Madame Kerry will try to keep a tight rein on her ‘girls of the evening’. Ms. Bo the banker will be there jist in case ya needs ta mortgage yer farm to pay off yer gamblin’ debts.
Bettin’, drinkin’ and general carryin’ on will be the order of the day. Get here early, before Sheriff Charlotte tries to toss us all in jail for havin’ such a good time!
About a year ago I was making arrangements for an associate who was in town for a conference and looking for accommodation. Before I continue, let me add that I am an enthusiastic environmentalist and advocate for liveable communities who walks, bikes and takes transit everywhere. I don’t even own a driver’s license. They say that it’s everything. Stagecoach Designs’ new storefront in Dundas has it for sure. This has especially become apparent to me since purchasing my brand new Gary Fisher Tiburon hybrid 21-speed bicycle two weekends ago.
The aim was to ride it to work. It’s not that far - so far it’s taken me about 35-40 minutes one way - though I’ll have to work up to doing it regularly. Maybe every other day will be enough for now.
